Roaches in house. How to kick them out

Roaches in your house often spells big trouble.  In as little as six months just two of them (assuming one male and one female) can multiply to as many as fifty more roaches.  But let's But let's be honest here. You know that if you spot two, chances are almost certain that you have much more that you aren't seeing. It's best to kick them out before they get that chance to multiply and I'm going to tell you how.

Give a quick search on Google or your favorite search engine for some answers about getting rid of them and you'll find countless possible answers. By the time you sort through them all and start doing something, you might as well just burn the house down. For those of you who take things too literally, this is not an advice (I'm just saying). Fortunately for you though I've spent a considerable amount of my time to sort through enough of the information available to find a suitable answer that you can use. I'd like to give credit to pestsoff.com for a lot of help info.

Now we want to hit them as hard and as fast as possible.  After all, we don't want to give them a chance to multiply at all. So for this reason alone, we're going to skip the natural stuff.  Now the natural stuff like boric acid,  etc work great.  The problem is they work slow.  We want fast not slow, so we want the man-made stuff. The stuff that we have designed and made specifically to kill them fast.

What we want to use are two things: pyrethroids and insect growth regulators.  Pyrethroids are man-made pyrethrums,  a naturally occurring insecticide that attacks the central nervous system of insects that come into contact with them. The big difference between man-made and natural is the man made stuff will last and stay deadly to bugs for over a month.  The natural stuff lasts a few hours at max. This stuff is like nerve gas to them and will kill them within hours of contact.

Insect growth regulators themselves don't kill roaches. But when combined with a pyrethroid, preventing reproduction and multiplication of roaches in house is a whole lot easier. This is because it stops the young from molting into adults.  No adults means no reproduction.

Just spray the pesticide around baseboards and potential hiding areas. Then flush them out by spraying into small cracks and crevices in these areas. If they don't come running out, a few good strong blasts of "nerve gas" into these cracks will have them coming out sooner or later. Either way, they'll have to walk over it and that's all it takes.

Once you're done spraying, just apply the IGR in the same areas where you suspect the roaches are hiding in your home. Be careful not to skip this step.  Spraying works great, but you won't get every single one of them (especially the tint young ones and the unmatched eggs).

Spraying to kill the majority of the roaches in house and using IGR to greatly reduce reproduction rates is vital to kicking them out. But let's it forget that this isn't a one-time deal. You need to do this on a regular basis and you need to be consistent with it.
